Historic Victorian Inn

The Champaign Garden Inn is a Victorian Queen Anne-style mansion built in 1901, located on a brick-lined street in Champaign's historic Sesquicentennial neighborhood. The hotel is in a great location, close to the downtown area and within easy walking distance of restaurants and bars. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a super big bed and a separate bathroom. The service is top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff who go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The dining options are abundant, offering a do-it-yourself experience with a variety of items to choose from. However, some areas like the finishing of the closet could use improvement, and the rooms are not ideal for everyone due to partially covered walls.

I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were beautifully decorated, very clean, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. The breakfast offered just about anything I could think of, and the hosts were extremely accommodating, doing everything possible to make our stay pleasant. However, the dining experience was a little underwhelming. The location was great, easily walkable to a variety of restaurants and a lovely park with amenities. Overall, a fantastic place to stay with some minor dining room improvements.

My stay at the hotel was just wonderful! The rooms were incredibly comfortable, and the decor was beautiful. The hosts went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant.
